The rusty metal textures work well indeed! The golden shine doesn't quite fit in thoug... It looks too polished and cartoon like compared to the metal.

Very nice. I have no problem with thw golden plates. Besides this pic is not photorealistic. It has many elements of comic style and that makes it good!
